VACUUMING

From 90 - 95% of all soil in carpet is dry. Much of it is sand which has sharp edges which can cut the pile fibers thus reducing the life of the carpet. Other soils are fungal spores, bacteria and allergens. Indoor air quality (IAQ) is a major concern in buildings today. Improper carpet care can contribute to the lowering of that air quality. Therefore, frequent vacuuming with proper equipment not only extends carpet life but also contributes to better indoor air quality.

IMPORTANT! Always pre-test spotters for color fastness by spraying on a white cloth or tissue and pressing against an inconspicuous area of the carpet. If color is transferred to the cloth or tissue, do not use that spotter.
